Become a Volunteer

Download the Neighbors at Home Volunteer Handbook here. The Volunteer Handbook describes the proper way for Neighbors at Home volunteers to interact with the members for whom they are providing services. There are some Dos and Don'ts. See below the types of services that Neighbors at Home provides: drivers, home help, social, and info tech.


Download the Neighbors at Home Volunteer Application here. Use this form for applying to become a Neighbors at Home volunteer. It includes a several different forms that we require for volunteers. Each volunteer is vetted to insure the safety of everyone and that Neighbors at Home members receive high-quality service.

Be a Driver

​Driver volunteers drive members to appointments and other errands, usually within about 30 miles of Northfield.

Info Tech

Info Tech volunteers help members to work with cell phones, computers, and help with other technology issues.

Lend-a-Hand

Lend-a-Hand volunteers help senors in their homes with simple things like changing a light bulb or hanging pictures.

Social Connection

Social connection volunteers arrange personal visits, group meals, etc., and to alert members to local events.
